Taking ahead Sketch 2

I chose idea number 2 because it provided a comprehensive insight into both the exhibition and the intricate world of Kalamkari art. The seamless flow of information painted a vivid picture as I envisioned scrolling through the content. Each detail neatly aligned, creating a cohesive structure that beautifully encapsulated the essence of Kalamkari artistry.

Visual Bank: Crafting a Narrative

Creating a visual bank which brings out the essence of my webpage through selected colors, textures, typography and symbols that brings out the authencity of the Kalamkari craft.

  1. Rich Reds: Symbolizing passion, energy, and vitality. Deep reds can evoke a sense of tradition and warmth.

  2. Earthy Tones: Such as terracotta, ochre, and sienna, reflecting the natural hues found in pottery, textiles, and landscapes.

  3. Golden Hues: Signifying opulence, luxury, and a touch of royalty. Gold can represent the intricate craftsmanship and value of the showcased items.

  4. Royal Blues: Conveying sophistication, depth, and a regal touch. Deep blues can add a sense of elegance to the design.

  5. Muted Greens: Reflecting nature, growth, and harmony. Soft greens can represent the eco-friendliness and sustainability of handmade crafts.
