Project Overview

As part of the Google Digital Marketing Certificate, I was tasked with helping a historic, family-run specialty foods brand strengthen their digital presence. The goal was to increase traffic to Founders’ Dairy’s online store by enhancing their search engine visibility, specifically for two high-potential content areas: cheese product pages and recipe collections.

I was drawn to this project because I’ve always believed in the power of small copy changes to create a big SEO impact.

What I Explored

This was a content-focused SEO project where I restructured key metadata to reflect both brand voice and user search behavior.

Objective
Improve Founders’ Dairy’s SEO by rewriting:

  • Cheese Product Page

  • Recipe Collection Page

Step-by-Step Approach
1. Audit Existing Metadata

  • Existing titles lacked keywords and brand strength

  • Meta descriptions were too vague and didn’t match user intent

2. Understand Page Content & Audience Intent

  • Cheese page focused on artisan varieties and pairings

  • Recipe page featured time-honored family recipes using Founders’ products

3. SEO Content Rewriting

  • Aligned with best practices (character limits, keyword use, clarity)

  • Prioritized emotional appeal + descriptive accuracy
